An extremely rare rheophytic aroid that grows only in the splash zones of a few waterfalls high up in Borneo’s deep interior rainforests above the Rajang basin. This form is the striped variant. Recently the gebus name for this species was reassigned to Apobollis now known as Apobollis puberulipes
