One of the most showy species of schismatoglottis ever seen in cultivation for its very dark colored foliage. Another bonus on this easy to grow species is the vibrant purple colored undersides of its metallic colored foliage which makes for an eye catcher in any collection. important note to take in mind would be to make sure this species is kept in a very humid environment to mimic its original habitat such as in a glass housing of some sort.
