A brilliant purple-pink colored species that is a lovely addition to a glasshouse setting where this terrestrial species tends to grow all over the forest floor and on moss covered rocks. Unfortunately this particular locale of this possibly yet to be described species is threatened by logging and deforestation in the Morona Santiago as in recent years there has been a number of road developments to which the habitat of this and many other very unique endemic species are in the line of fire.
