A more uncommon species of rhaphidophora found in the lower elevations of Borneo. The juvenile growth tends to be more unique in shape compared to others in the genus being very narrow until they reach mature size if given a taller mount to ascend where the foliage undergoes a dramatic transformation resembling a torn leaf of sorts.
