A unique piper species found in the Ecuadorean choco usually in wet and heavily shaded environments. This species is considered a holy grail for growers but only because unlike other pipers this species prefers very high humidity and wet feet. We grow ours in pure sphagnum with occasional slow release fertilizers sealed in grow bins.
