A seldom-seen Amazonian species that was introduced into cultivation by Joep Moonen whom discovered it in French Guiana. The plant was named in honor of taxonomist Scott Mori, after it was published by Joep and Dr. Thomas Croat.
Fairly easy to grow, this warm loving philodendron makes a great windowsill subject and if grown in lower light levels, the foliage becomes almost iridescent, which is a seldom seen characteristic in the genus.
