Hailing from the Morona Santiago, this yet-to-be confirmed species has proven to be quite the attractive philodendron with its elongated and slim foliage, which it retains even when mature. Friends have observed this species in the northern regions of Peru but our stock plants originally came from southern Ecuador.
With regularly pruning it can easily be kept as a glasshouse subject. The vibrant, near fluorescent colored foliage with its red emerging new growth make this easy-to-care-for species a great candidate for those wanting to add a unique but relatively tolerant philodendron to their collection.
