Although it resembles the Asiatic genus of Freycenitia, we unfortunately have yet to figure out what this plant could be. It grows as a terrestrial and epiphyte in the dark understory of the Chocó rainforest, although we have seen in the past that the same or other species of this unknown genus has been found in Peru, Colombia and Brazil. A true rarity to finally have in cultivation and a great terrarium subject.
