A rarer type of the peltatum group of ferns that typically occur in higher elevations. This particular form has been found from the high mountains of Costa Rica all the way down to Ecuador. Despite the elevation preference we have learned this fern is tolerable and will still thrive in terraria although in intermediate/cooler environments will accelerate its growth rate.
