A very attractive smaller-sized Gobenia section begonia that hails from the Ecuadorean Chocó. It has been observed throughout the Chocó forests around Quito, Ecuador, and is very easy to grow in sealed terraria. This species can turn into a wide array of colors from burgundy, purple, irridescent blue and various shades of green, depending on growing conditions.
