An Amazonian strap leaf species that has a wide distribution throughout the rainforests of Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. A species that is fairly easy to grow, it can fare well as a houseplant or glass house subject. It appreciates regular fertilization, otherwise growth will be slow. Stock plants originate from Napo.
