One of our personal favorite bromeliads here at Atlas that we utilize even as landscaping bromeliads in Southern California. This particular nudicalis locale is named after an area somewhere in Brazil where it was initially collected. It stays somewhat smaller for a nudicalis and almost always has the deep rich purple colors which make it a favorite for hybridizers and terrarium keepers.
