A common orchid companion often seen growing on trees, rooftops, walls, etc. in the tropics throughout Southeast Asia. Drynaria will undergo a resting period throughout the year where live green fronds will drop for a couple of months. These species are leaf detritus feeders so occasional feeding with orchid fertilizers will increase growth significantly.
