A more darker colored variety of this species that occurs in higher lit areas of the forest floor. This color form is considered the most attractive compared to other color variants but also just as easy to cultivate. We prefer growing these plants in a woody based substrate of moss and wood chips or just pure sphagnum moss. Not fussy at all but care must be taken to keep this species in well lit areas in order for it to retain its dark coloring.
