one of the most widespread species of piper found throughout the neotropics from Mexico, the Antilles, and most of South America especially in the Amazonas. This bigger sized piper can be easily managed via stem cuttings but if allowed to mature the leaves are quite a sight to behold with its very unique vein pattern. Specimens offered are originally from the Ecuadorean Amazonas in various locations.
