This is a great easy to grow species that can adapt to a wide array of conditions and is found throughout northern Ecuador. The elongated paddle-like leaves make this particular philodendron a favorite with terrarium keepers who have special animals such as glass frogs that utilize this species in nature to dwell under during the day.
