Another acquisition from the Atlanta Botanical Garden many years ago of what was once thought to be a philodendron but later identified as a rhodospatha. This species has been seen in the Colombian pacific choco besides Panama. Definitely one of the bigger species in its genus and prefers warmer temperatures making it more ideal for glasshouse keeping.
