ABG is an acronym for Atlanta Botanical Garden from which this unknown species of pteromischium section philodendron was originally collected by the institute in central panama some years ago. It is thought to possibly be philodendron inaequilaterum which is a fairly common species that has been seen in Costa Rica all the way down to northern ecuador in the choco. With their relatively smaller size it is recommended that these types of philodendrons are grown in a more humid setting and not subjected to consistent colder temperatures therefore only recommended for glass house subjects.
