One of the rarest lepanthes orchids found only in the Ecuadorean Choco of Pichincha. Rhodophylla is almost always found exclusively on trees near waterfalls and rapids where humidity is always high. It is also the largest sized lepanthes I have seen even next to species such as gargantua and ilensis. Can be grown in intermediate conditions but care must be taken to not let water sit on the foliage for too long.
