One of the larger sized Gobenia section begonias that may still be undescribed. We have observed this species in Lita and suspect it may be present in Colombia as well, but have yet to confirm this theory. This species is wonderful in terrariums for damp or water-wicking backgrounds with some air circulation. Once established it can become a weed and is a little more forgiving compared to the smaller sized species.
