A widespread Chocó rainforest species native from Colombia all the way down to Ecuador. Our stock plants originally came from Pichincha, Ecuador, as an unknown species. We were later able to determine an identification after flowering and have been producing seedlings of this species since 2015. An easy-to-grow species that is better suited to higher humidity environments, but can be acclimated to houseplant culture if given proper conditions and plenty of patience.
