Philodendron pastazum is a widely distributed species that occurs all throughout the Colombian, Ecuadorean, and Peruvian amazonas. This lager sized species is prized for its ornamental foliage and is sometimes used in southern climate tropical gardens as well indoor houseplant subjects. These terrestrial growing philodendrons are a rather easy species to grow but do not tolerate consistent cold temps below 60F. Our stock plants are originally sourced from the Napo region and cultivated in San Miguel and Quito as well as the United States.
