A species we had as cf mapania Ecuador for some time not knowing what it was. This genus has very few species and are found in intermediate and higher elevations of the Andes but quite tolerant of warmer temperatures as well. We encountered this species of the cordillera condor again after so many years and were finally able to get an identification after a friend recognized it.
