A wide spread fern from central and South America in wet forests. Over the years we have grown this fern from different countries and no matter the locale they are always jaw droppers because of their high iridescence. These ferns grow along mountain streams and creeks on very wet surfaces such as moss covered rocks and driftwood. To attain the higher iridescent blue these ferns must be grown in lower lighting and damp substrates such as long fiber sphagnum moss.
