Native to Panama all the way down to the choco of north western Ecuador this uncommon species is a splendid species that is perfect for terraria. Mature foliage of this species tend to have a small lobe but juvenile stage foliage are more smaller in size and narrow shaped similar to other species such us bicolor and chinchamayense. Stock plants originate from Anchicaya and Narino of Colombia.
