Another central Panamanian unknown pteromischium section philodendron originally from a collection done by the Atlanta botanical garden some years ago. This yet to be identified species and smallest of the 3 unknown ABG philodendrons has the very prominent “winged” petioles which is my favorite characteristic of this philodendron. Based on previous photographs this species may also be found in the Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica but can not absolutely confirm. It does not tolerate colder temperatures and should be grown as a glass house subject as it does not tolerate low humidity.
