Hailing from colombia and northern Ecuador this is one of the nicer larger sized vibrant colored philodendrons we grow and offer. We love using this plant with our partners in Ecuador as a “filler” species for reforestation programs once a forest has reached its second stage growth phase because of how hardy it is and the variety of animals that use this philodendron for refuge especially glass frogs. We have used this species multiple times for display exhibits for customers wanting biotopic focused displays for specific animals and has always been a hit with them. These plants are sold as larger sized cuttings for ease of shipping.
