Originally from the lowland Amazonian rainforests of Iquitos, Peru. This species of philodendron makes for a fantastic “shingler” on backgrounds/ mounts and are commonly growing in the lowlands of many forests on trees and fallen logs and has been observed from Central America all the way down to the amazonas of Peru.
