This is the typical form of clidemioides found throughout Central America in the mountainous zones growing in the heavily shaded understory of rainforests. It is one of the few anthuriums that tend to grow by coming along the forest floor and other objects it may use to climb such as rocks and branches. Plants for sale are unrooted cuttings with aerial roots from stock plants.
