A new addition to horticulture is this yet-to-be-described epiphytic species from the Narino region of Colombia. It is the darker purple colored form which has yet to be seen an any other species from this genus in South America...besides the almost black colored species from Panama. Very easy to grow in glass housing and does best in a loose and water retentive substrate such as lachuza mixed with some moss or pure long fiber sphagnum moss.
