A rare anthurium found in limited patches throughout the eastern side of the Ecuadorean Andean cloudforests. This species is considered near endangered due to deforestation but is surprisingly easy to grow in cultivation. This anthurium is ideal for larger terraria and greenhouses with higher humidity levels and should never be allowed to completely dry out in between waterings. It can tolerate a wide variety of temperatures but ideally stable intermediate temperatures are most ideal to replicate its natural growing conditions.
